This design celebrates Dallas's 1999 Championship brought home by Brett Hull in the third overtime of Game Six. As a company based in Buffalo, NY it was hard for us to not put up an asterisk next to the 1999 text as Hull's foot was clearly in the crease. Maybe when Buffalo finally wins a championship we can make some ... corrections ... to the 1999 section.
- One side of the puck is machined out so a 304 Stainless Steel opener plate can can be inserted and attached by four screws.
- A magnet is also attached so the cap doesn't go flying off across the floor like some bottle openers. Check out the GIF below to see what I mean.
- The opener plate and magnet are recessed so there's nothing stopping you from tossing it out on the ice and playing a regular game with it. It even weighs the same as a normal puck.
- It makes a great coaster as well!
