One side of the puck is machined out so a 304 Stainless Steel opener plate can can be inserted and attached by four screws.
A magnet is also attached so the cap doesn't go flying off across the floor like some bottle openers. Check out the GIF below to see what I mean.
The opener plate and magnet are recessed so there's nothing stopping you from tossing it out on the ice and playing a regular game with it. It even weighs the same as a normal puck.
It makes a great coaster as well!
